Message from the President
For remarkable change and uplifting lives both spiritually and materially.
As the President of Mission Évangélique du Nord D'Haïti (MENH), I am honored to carry forward the vision that Pastor Thony Paul set in motion in 1970. Our mission, deeply anchored in the community near Cap Haitian, has been a catalyst for remarkable change, uplifting lives both spiritually and materially.
With our core values of Respect, Democracy, Solidarity, Love, and Service steering us, MENH has achieved significant milestones. We currently manage 12 primary schools, four secondary schools, 19 churches, a medical clinic, over 100 water pumps, and several developmental programs. These efforts have touched the lives of over 5000 children in northern Haiti, including those in remote and impoverished areas.
Growing up, I saw my father's unwavering commitment to this cause. MENH has become a beacon of hope, providing essential services like education and healthcare to those most in need. Our growth from a modest school for nine children to 16 schools is a powerful reminder of the impact we can have.
I invite you to join us in this journey. Whether it's through volunteering, donations, or spreading the word about our work, your support can make a real difference. Together, we can continue to transform lives and build a brighter future for Haiti.
With best wishes,
Ebed Paul, President MENH

OUR WORK

Ministry
Our ministry, comprised of 19 churches, is central to the Mission Évangélique du Nord D'Hati (MENH). Our faith serves as a guiding philosophy in all of our endeavors. We prioritize a comprehensive approach to development, encouraging spiritual, intellectual, and physical growth. Our steadfast faith and shared optimism for a better tomorrow underpin MENH's cohesive power, which our 19 churches strengthen. Our ministry brings our community together and motivates us to make a positive difference.

Education
MENH proudly runs nine primary schools, three secondary schools, and a vocational school, all adhering to the Haitian National Curriculum. Our educational approach enhances this curriculum with a deep respect for Northern Haitian culture, values, and traditions. We believe in the interconnectedness of societal roles and the vital role of collective responsibility in environmental stewardship and agricultural education. Our teaching methods also focus heavily on social-emotional and personal development, along with fostering leadership skills.

Healthcare
Our health clinic, originally the home of Ebed Paul, our current president, has a unique origin. Recognizing the urgent need for healthcare in the community, Pastor Ebed selflessly transformed his home into the region's inaugural clinic. Since its establishment, the clinic has experienced substantial growth, transforming into a vital center for healthcare services. Amidst the COVID pandemic, it served as a critical source of relief by providing essential medical care and distributing food, symbolizing the community's hope and support.

Local Development
Emphasizing local development is crucial for alleviating poverty and promoting self-reliance and sustainable development. We embarked on a sustainable development journey by establishing a single water well. Over time, our organization has grown to offer various programs catering to the community's needs. These include setting up 100 water wells, home gardening and chicken farming projects, a highly acclaimed marching band, an elite soccer team, micro-lending designed for women, and other innovative programs. These initiatives empower our community by providing essential skills and resources, enabling long-term economic self-sufficiency.
